Pune University To Conduct Second Semester Examinations In June


Pune, 15th May 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University’s (SPPU) undergraduate and postgraduate examinations for the second semester will be held in phases from June 15. A decision in this regard was taken at the examination board meeting of the university today.

According to officials, the examination will be conducted online and a detailed timetable will be published by the examination department.

Due to Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) pandemic, universities and colleges are closed. Therefore, the first semester exams were conducted online through the proctored method from April instead of October-November last year.

Against the backdrop of the pandemic, it was already decided to conduct the practical examinations of various faculties of the university online. The results cannot be declared unless the marks obtained by the students in the practical and internal assessment are received from the colleges. Therefore, colleges have to conduct the practical exams by June 15 and the marks have to be submitted to the university by June 25, the examination board meeting decided today.
