WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram not working

Top social-media platforms Whatsapp, instagram and Facebook went down late Monday night as a suspected global outage and technical failure disrupted their services.

The platforms, owned by American internet giant Facebook, experienced outages around 9 PM, India time, and millions of users complained that fresh messages were not being loaded, and user feed disrupted.

When contacted, a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement, “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”

Officials in the social-media giants said that urgent steps are being taken to sort out the issue at the earliest.
